ILS 512 Materials and Services for Adolescents – sources of professional
reviews of young adult materials were examined.
Also
in ILS 512
– a considerable number of young adult books were read and reviewed. Student evaluations of the material were
summarized in chart form, and also submitted in an annotated bibliography including story summaries and review comments.` `
Since
ILS 512 – I
have read the current nominees for the Evergreen Award in Washington State and for
the Young Readers’ Choice Award in the Northwest plus a few other titles. Although the annotated bibliography attached
in no way represents all the young adult titles I have read, it does illustrate
those I have read recently.
